At UGO we are a family of passionate foodies, totally committed to creating sensational food using the finest, freshest ingredients and absolutely nothing else.
Lovingly making pasta in the UK, since 1929, we bring true Italian provenance and know-how, and blend it with award winning innovation so that you can enjoy a taste experience that is delicious and unrivalled.
You don't just learn how to make quality fresh pasta overnight. It's taken us over 80 years of work to get to where we are today, and even now we never stop looking for ways to improve.
We are absolutely committed to providing you with the very finest fresh pasta available. We use kitchen cupboard ingredients with no nasties and we buy our ingredients from family firms in the UK and Italy where we have long-standing relationships and can ensure the highest quality ingredients.
We source the finest wheat flour from the Altamura region of Italy (considered to be the best in the world for flour and semolina) but turn closer to home for our free range eggs. Our fillings are often traditional recipes but we sometimes give them a little modern twist – what we always do is include very generous portions in all our filled pasta. Finally, we combine all of these wonderful ingredients with cooking techniques refined over our many years of pasta making.
